Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-25. The following is a summary of the key risks of using Hydra Trader. The full disclosure is available on the dedicated Risk Disclosure page.

• Hydra Trader is a software tool for strategy automation and research — not a broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, or financial advisor.
• AI and ML signals are generated by large language models (LLMs) and third-party data providers. They can make mistakes, produce inaccurate outputs, and should never be relied on as financial advice.
• Market data, quotes, and fundamentals originate from third-party services. We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any data.
• Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for all trading decisions and outcomes.
• The platform is not liable for errors, delays, outages, interrupted data feeds, or execution failures. You use the service at your own discretion.

By accessing or using Hydra Trader (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hydra Trader.

Hydra Trader is a software-as-a-service platform providing tools for trading strategy research, backtesting, paper trading, and automated execution. The Service connects to third-party brokerage accounts via API but does not itself act as a broker, custodian, or financial advisor.

The Service is a tool for automation and strategy research. It does not provide investment advice, recommendations, or guarantees of trading performance.

Monthly Subscriptions: Billed on a recurring monthly basis from the date of subscription activation. The subscription auto-renews each month until cancelled.

Annual Subscriptions: Billed as a single annual payment from the date of activation. The subscription auto-renews each year until cancelled. Annual plans receive a 20% discount compared to monthly billing.

Early Access Discount: Subscriptions activated during the early access promotion window (July 21 – October 19, 2026) receive a 50% lifetime discount. This rate is locked for the life of the subscription.

Free Tier: A limited free tier is available indefinitely with no billing obligation.

No-Hassle Cancellations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:

• Through the in-app subscription management interface
• Through the AI support agent (requires email verification)
• By contacting Hydra Trader support

Effective Date: Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle (end of the current month for monthly plans, end of the current annual period for annual plans). After the billing cycle ends, your account reverts to the Free tier.

Email Verification: Cancellations processed through the AI support agent require email verification to prevent unauthorized cancellations. A 6-digit verification code is sent to your registered email address and must be provided to confirm the cancellation.

Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of previous billing periods (see Refund Policy below).

Current-Period Refunds: You may request a refund for the current billing period at any time. The refund covers the current period's charge only.

Monthly Plans: The current month's payment is eligible for a full refund upon request.

Annual Plans: Refunds are prorated based on completed months. You will be charged for the months you have used, and the remaining unused months will be refunded. For example, if you cancel an annual subscription after 3 months, you will be refunded for the remaining 9 months.

Previous Months: Payments from previous billing periods are non-refundable. Only the current billing period is eligible for a refund.

Early Access Discount: If your subscription has an early access discount, the refund amount is calculated based on the discounted rate you paid.

Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and will appear on your original payment method. A confirmation email will be sent when the refund is processed.

How to Request: Refund requests can be made through the AI support agent or by contacting Hydra Trader support. The support agent is authorized to process current-period refunds immediately.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss. The Service is provided for informational and automation purposes only and is not intended as investment advice or a solicitation to buy or sell securities.

You are solely responsible for:

• Backtesting all strategies before live deployment to understand their historical performance and potential risks.
• Paper trading to validate strategies in a simulated environment before risking real capital.
• Vetting strategies — both your own and those shared by the community — to ensure they align with your risk tolerance, investment objectives, and trading experience.
• Setting your own risk management levels, including stop losses, position sizes, max daily loss limits, and other risk controls available in the Strategy Builder.
• Monitoring automated trading activity on your connected broker accounts to ensure strategies are performing as expected.

Hydra Trader is a tool for automation and strategy research. It does not make trading decisions on your behalf. All trading decisions, including the selection, configuration, and deployment of strategies, are made by you. The Service executes instructions based on parameters you define.

No Performance Guarantees: Past performance does not guarantee future results. Backtested results are hypothetical and do not represent actual trading. Real-world performance may differ significantly due to market conditions, slippage, latency, and other factors.

Not a Financial Advisor: Hydra Trader is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial advisor. We do not custody your funds — all trades execute through your own broker account. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your API credentials for connected broker and data feed accounts.
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and your broker's terms of service.
• Understand the risks of algorithmic and automated trading before deploying strategies with real capital.
• Acknowledge that you are responsible for all trades executed through your connected broker accounts, whether manual or automated.
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hydra Trader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to trading losses, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that strategies will achieve any particular results.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to cancel your subscription and request a current-period refund as described in Section 5.

The Service includes community features (forum, leaderboard, shared strategies). Content posted by other users reflects their own views and is not endorsed or verified by Hydra Trader. You are solely responsible for evaluating and vetting any community-shared strategies before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or profitability of user-generated content.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
